Join us at New Harmony Gallery of Contemporary Art for our 8th annual exhibition showcasing work by our most recent artists in residence.
Kritika Soni is a current resident artist for New Harmony Clay Project. Inspired by the Japanese philosophy of Wabi Sabi which believes nothing can ever be perfect, Kritika explores clay as a medium to find balance between perfection and imperfection. She celebrates the concept of decay and deconstruction in her work with a play of floral motifs and layering.
Lecture is free and open to public.
Tristyn Bustamante is a current resident artist for New Harmony Clay Project. She continues to develop her bio-mechanical styled sculptural work, which will build from former questions of “purpose” and integrate themes of adaptation. Join us as Tristyn discusses her exploration of intuitive ideation, development of form, and conscious refinement.
Lecture is free and open to public.
Blayze Buseth is a current resident artist for New Harmony Clay Project. His intent as an artist is to immerse himself in a community to create artwork based on his surroundings and concepts that he is confronted by during his stay. Join us as Blayze discusses his exploration of new functional content in porcelain from the inspiration of New Harmony. Lecture is free and open to public.

Lecture is free and open to public.
Join us as we explore the work of Sydney Ewerth, current resident artist for New Harmony Clay Project. Lecture is free and open to public.

Using shapes, forms, colors, and textures, he is drawn to abstraction as a way to uncover and make visual those phenomenon. Join us as we explore his extensive career as a ceramic artist and his personal approach to clay as a medium. Free and open to the public.
