Shake, Rattle, and Roll | June 17

Children, ages 7-12, will learn the basics of hand building to make musical clay rattles! By rolling coils and pressing slabs into hollow forms that contain loose beads of clay, students will explore making sculptural instruments and decorate their creations using underglazes.
Course fee includes individual attention, instruction, and tools for one child and bisque, glaze, and firing for two rattles. Want to keep all of your child's pieces? We can make it happen. We'll bisque, glaze and fire additional work at $3 per piece.*
Registration/payment is required to secure your space in this class. NHCP encourages all participants be vaccinated against Covid-19. Classes are subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment of four is not met two days prior to the scheduled class date. Click here for our CANCELLATION POLICY.
*Firing fees for additional works are collected at the studio after the conclusion of the event. Please allow for firing of the work; pieces will be ready and available before one month after your class date. We will store the pieces for a maximum of 3 months after the workshop unless other arrangements have been made.
